  • Interviews are academically focused – expect to be asked technical questions, eg. to solve a maths problem. Interested in how you think / process a problem, not necessarily expecting a ‘right’ answer. Expect to be pushed.
  • UCAS Personal Statement: 75-90% academic focus – looking for motivation for course, academic preparation, wider reading, other relevant academic activities, career aspirations, awareness of cultural/industrial affairs.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and interest. Include 1-2 activities outside academics, but link to relevant skills that have been acquired.
  • Application will be read by an academic in that subject
